For the third year in a row, we are proud to be sponsoring Detroit Mercy and Windsor Law’s annual International Patent Drafting Competition, which is being held at the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional USPTO on February 23, 2019. Community Service

On September 27, 2018, we were very proud to support Ford Motor Company’s Global Day of Service, and specifically, the company’s Legal Alliance for Women (LAW) organization, which is focused on women in the legal practice. Along with others from Ford, we worked with Detroit’s Arts & Scraps, a non-profit organization that provides hands-on learning and creative experiences through programs with an emphasis on STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education.

John Wright Speaks at AUTOLEX

Burris Law Attorney John Wright spoke at the 2017 AUTOLEX Automotive Legal Forum on a panel that also featured current Autonomous Vehicles Counsel at General Motors and former Chief IP Counsel of Tenneco.
