The Best Lawyers in America list has been published for over three decades, earning the respect of the profession, the media and the public. It has grown to provide lists in more than 75 countries. Lawyers included in the list are divided by geographic region and practice areas. They are reviewed by their peers on the basis of professional expertise and undergo an authentication process to ensure they are in current practice and in good standing.
The Best Lawyers Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch list recognizes associates and other lawyers who are earlier in their careers for their outstanding professional excellence in private practice in the United States. The list was established in August 2020 and utilizes the same peer-review process and methodology as the traditional Best Lawyers list.
