Intellectual Property Attorney

Bejeir is an experienced intellectual property attorney with a practice focused on U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution in the materials science, mechanical and electromechanical arts.  In particular, Bejeir has expertise in ceramic materials for ballistic applications and semiconductor processing equipment, as well as titanium and nickel alloys in aerospace and oil and gas industries. A key part of Bejeir’s success has been his ability to develop intellectual property strategies based on his extensive industry experience while balancing client goals and industry trends.

With his multifaceted engineering background and legal expertise, Bejeir is a solid asset for our client teams. Industry Experience

Bejeir began his professional journey as a Senior Engineer at a Department of Defense contractor. During his tenure, Bejeir worked extensively with suppliers, contributing to the manufacturing, development, and testing of new ceramic materials for ballistic applications. He conducted thorough analysis and improvement of various ceramics processes, including pressing, HIP (hot isostatic pressing), and encapsulating. His expertise in ceramic testing covered areas such as glasses, coatings, ballistic and non-ballistic solutions, and insulative properties, among others. Furthermore, as an Integrated Program Team Lead, he demonstrated his exceptional leadership skills in managing system/subsystem teams, preparing budgets, and directing workforce efforts.

Bejeir’s passion for innovation and intellectual property rights also led him to work with the United States Army as a Senior Engineer, where he played a key role in project management, intellectual property strategy development, and engineering oversight throughout program lifecycles.

Bejeir has also served in the position of Patent Examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office. In this role, he diligently reviewed patent applications, conducted prior art searches, and ensured compliance with formal USPTO requirements.

In his spare time, Bejeir enjoys attending local music shows, cooking and engaging with his community.
